چکیده
Abstract The article presents the results of a study non-traditional oilseeds family Brassicaceae (camelina, crambe) and Asteraceae (safflower, ramtil) in Middle Volga region. crop productivity was studied, which high varied range 1.35–2.77 t/ha. oil content seeds ranged from 28.3 % safflower to 43.1 crambe. fatty acid composition these crops is used for various applications. A erucic 59.3 noted crambe, 2.92 camelina. (58.9 %) crambe allows it be production biodiesel. sufficiently linolenic (35.6 %), oleic (13.7 low (up 3.1 acids using camelina food purposes. reduced trace values 0.03 %, attributed valuable edible oils. ramtil represented by linoleic (79.3 %). Ramtil can considered as source omega-6 essential acids.

Non-traditional Alu evolution and primate genomic diversity.
Alu elements belonging to the previously identified "young" subfamilies are thought to have inserted in the human genome after the divergence of humans from non-human primates and therefore should not be present in non-human primate genomes. Polymerase chain reaction (PCR) based screening of over 500 Alu insertion loci resulted in the recovery of a few "young" Alu elements that also resided at ...
متن کاملDiversity of Lactobacillus Strains in Iranian Traditional Wheat Sourdough
Background: Lactic acid bacteria play a key role in sourdough fermentation. Lactobacilli are the most important group of lactic acid bacteria in sourdough. Therefore, the main objective of this study was to identify Lactobacillus strains in Iranian traditional wheat sourdoughs as a basis for further studies on the technological applications in the production of typical breads. Methods: Fourtee...
متن کاملBiological diversity
Cave paintings attest to our species’ enduring interest in biological diversity. Our early ancestors appear to have enjoyed the aesthetic qualities of nature as well as recognising its importance as a source of food and fuel. Poets and artists throughout history have sought inspiration from the natural world. But the first scientific enquiries about biological diversity emerged when explorers r...
متن کاملThe Future of New and Genetically Modified Oil Crops
Oil crops are one of the most valuable traded agricultural commodities and are probably worth over $100 billion/yr. The current volume of traded vegetable oils is over 70 Mt per year and is predicted to increased to over 100 Mt per year by the year 2010 (Murphy 1996). This is probably a considerable underestimate of the total volume of oil production since, particularly in developing countries,...
